"We are a historical 19th century Barn and Homestead located in the heart of Westerville. Our rustic barn is the perfect location for any type of event. We host weddings to graduation parties to business meetings, our Barn & Homestead offers something for everyone!"

The Upper/Lower Barn (main floor) is able to accommodate an event for up to 150 people, however, the perfect banquet size is from 100-120 people if you need a dance space. The Lower Level Barn is able to accommodate 50 people banquet style and can be reserved separately for smaller events. Listed below are a few amenities we offer and what you can expect during your reservation. The Homestead accommodates parties up to 25 people.

* Tables and chairs set up and tear down. They are permitted inside the Barn and outside on the brick patio.
* A Facility Attendant on site throughout your entire reservation
* Trash bags and cleaning supplies for your event
* You may provide your own food (at no cost) or choose a professional caterer from our Approved Catering List (a 12% catering fee would apply on the purchase of food/beverage). New Caterers may be added with proper business licenses and insurance
* Allowance of limited beer and wine (below are a few details)
* Do-it-yourself venue that allows you to use your creativity
* Limited A/V equipment at a minimum cost (projector, projector screen, podium w/microphone)
* Reservation hours are between 7am-10:30pm 7 days a week. You may pick whatever block of time that you need between those hours
* 1 hour wedding rehearsals are permitted and charged the weekday rate
* You may choose and bring your own DJ, Band, Event Planner, Cake, Flowers etc...

Beer and Wine Rules:
1) You may purchase your own beer and wine; however, an Approved City of Westerville Caterer must transport and serve it. No liquor or kegs permitted
2) Catered food by a City approved Caterer must also be served while beer and wine is served. You will not be permitted to have beer and wine if you are bringing in your own food
3) There is a $200 fee and a $300 refundable security deposit for the privilege of having beer and wine. A permit must be signed by the person that signed the reservation agreement and that person must be present at the event while beer and wine is served.
4) There is a 12% catering fee charged on the total food (not on alcohol). This fee is given directly to the City of Westerville from the reserver
5) Consumption of beer and wine must stay inside of the Everal Barn and/or Homestead and must be in cans, clear glass or plastic. Alcoholic drinks are NOT permitted outside of the facilities

The Everal Barn and Homestead reservation office is open Tuesday's from 11a - 1p, Wednesday's 10a - 6p. There will always be a staff member to speak with, however, you can only tour the Barn if there is not a reservation in progress. Please contact Kim Sipe ahead of time before you come out so that she can check the reservation schedule. Masks or facial coverings are required inside the Homestead and Barn.

We reserve the Everal Barn and Homestead 12 months in advance. For example, at 9:00 a.m. on the first business day of September, 2020 we begin reserving all of September 2021. It is first come, first serve.

A $150 (weekday) $250 (weekend) refundable security deposit is required to secure the date along with 2 reservation agreements. The reservation fee is due 90 days before the event, Beer and Wine security deposit and fee (if applicable) are due 15 days before the event and the 12% Catering Fee is due 72 hours before the event. The refundable deposits are returned within 30 days after the reservation provided that proper clean up was done, you were on time and there were no damages. Payments may be made by cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and Discover and will be made at the Westerville Community Center. Payments are unable to be made at the Everal Barn and Homestead office.

* Monday - Friday (before 4) reservations must be a minimum of 3 hours. Weekday rates apply.
* Friday (after 4) - Sunday reservations must be a minimum of 5 hours. Weekend rates apply. If you are wanting an all day Friday reservation, including after 5 p.m., weekend rates apply.
