In this 1-hour class, we will discuss when and when it is NOT safe to approach a dog. We will learn the different types of body language that dogs use to communicate and what they mean. Come and get hands on practice with a trained German Shepherd Dog. Parents are welcomed to stay with their child for the class.

Improve the fundamentals of your skills in a safe and inclusive environmental following three goal: be safety, have fun, and learn. Throughout the session, participants will be running, jumping, climbing, rolling, and other movements in order to travel from one point to another in the quickest and efficient way possible!

Cooking Caravan will lead participants in a step-by-step presentation on how to cook new receipes they can make at home for their family and friends. Class takes place in our state of the art Demostration Kitchen and all supplies included.

Join local author Andra Gillum for a fun, creative two-hours filled with stories and silliness. Andra will share her a few of her five Doggy Drama books, then we'll all write, brainstorm and create our own stories and adventures! We'll even add a few games just for fun. Bring your imagination!

Would your child know what to do if they have forgotten their house key? What if they are home alone and they are choking? This class will give you and your child peace of mind when home alone. The class provide solutions for all of those ‘what-if’s” when being home alone. This course is designed to teach your child about being home alone safely.
NOTE: Part One is scheduled for June 3 while part two is scheduled for June 5.

Children will be introduced to basic gymnastics vocabulary such as pike, tuck, straddle, forward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels. We will work on building strength and coordination as well as increasing flexibility.

Explore, learn, develop, and play with Amazing Athletes Sport Discovery! This six week session is designed to empower kids to discover their inner athlete & love of sport. Together, we explore two sports with 2 weeks of concentrated play & practice for each, followed by a ‘finale’ game for each and an award ceremony. Your amazing athlete will have the opportunity to develop skills with practice, apply what they’ve learned with confidence, have fun with gameplay, discover sports they love!

Ideal for current and future baby-sitters, this course will teach the best way to keep the children in your care safe. Participants will learn to perform first aid, including responding effectively to emergencies, basic care routines and handling an illness. The fee includes activities and a guidebook with helpful information. Certification cards are awarded to each student who successfully completes the class. Students should bring paper, pencil, newborn-sized doll or stuffed animal, a packed lunch and a snack.

Students will learn the sport of fencing and develop strong fencing skills, coordination, focus, and balance while understanding the basic rules. Equipment will be provided.
Please note, the classes are held at Profencing in Lewis Center. This class meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00pm.

This camp is designed to provide a well-rounded overview in the three interconnected mind-body activities that are appropriate and safe for ages 7 to 13. Through instructions, drills, and a variety of games to enhance physical and mental skills, and supervised fencing, campers will learn good fencing technique, sportsmanship and have lots of fun.

Participants will learn various hand-building techniques as they work on individual projects. Students will work independently and with instruction The potter's wheel will be introduced.
